1. Overview
InnerWork ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using the InnerWork app or this website, you agree to this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information:
- Email address — when you join the waitlist, so we can notify you when InnerWork launches.
- Usage data — anonymised request logs (device ID, timestamps, request counts) used solely for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your dream content or any other personal content you enter in the app. Dreams, journal entries, and any text you write stay entirely on your device. If you enable iCloud sync, that data lives in your personal iCloud account under Apple's own privacy protections — not on our servers. When a dream is sent for interpretation, the text is transmitted directly to Anthropic's API and is never stored or logged by us.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To send you a launch notification email (waitlist only).
- To process your dream interpretation requests via the Anthropic Claude API. Dream text is transmitted to Anthropic solely for this purpose and is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- To enforce rate limits and prevent abuse of the service.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your dream journal is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account under Apple's privacy protections. We do not have access to your iCloud data. Waitlist emails are stored securely and are never sold or shared with third parties.
5. Third-Party Services
InnerWork uses the following third-party services:
- Anthropic — AI processing of dream interpretations.
- Supabase — backend infrastructure for rate limiting and request logging (no dream content stored).
- Apple iCloud — optional device sync at your discretion.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request deletion of your waitlist email or any other data we hold, contact us at the address below. As dream content is stored on your device, you can delete it at any time from within the app.
7. Children's Privacy
InnerWork is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist subscribers of material changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
